Ted Barrall, Director of Compensation and Benefits, The Friedkin Group

Ted Barrall is Director of Compensation and Benefits at The Friedkin Group. Based in Houston with 2,700 associates, The Friedkin Group is made up of auto-industry related companies including Gulf States Toyota, US Auto Logistics, GS Marketing, Gulf States Financial Services, and Westside and Northside Lexus. Friedkin has received wellness awards from the Houston Business Journal, American Heart Association, the Healthiest 100, and the HBCH. Ted has a Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and a Masters from Indiana University, Bloomington. Ted has over 20 years of Human Resources experience in various leadership roles and currently leads efforts to engage associates in improving their health while reducing overall healthcare costs.

Sirine Jazi, Director Client Engagement and Analytics, DHS Group

Sirine has cross-functional expertise in population health analytics, program management and client relations. Bridging the gap between technology and business needs, Sirine works with large employers and their consultants to utilize technology to simplify complex health analytics and transform it into useful and actionable information. In addition, Sirine leads DHS Group’s Health Analytics Team in the delivery of turnkey solutions and plays an integral role in both product design and innovation. She is passionate about an employers vital role in healthcare and supporting them in identifying strategies that help elevate health and wellbeing. Sirine obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Management of Information Systems from McGill University (Montreal, Canada) and her Masters in Public Health (MPH) from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is also Certified in Public Health (CPH).

Bruce Sherman, MD, FCCPFACOEM, Medical Director of Population Health Management, Conduent HR Services

Bruce Sherman, MD, FCCPFACOEM, is the Medical Director, Population Health Management for the RightOpt private exchange offering at Conduent HR Services. His primary areas of responsibility include health/well-being strategy and data analytics, with the goal of implementing integrated, data-driven approaches to optimize workforce health, productivity, and performance for employer clients. Dr. Sherman has research interests in the areas of employer health benefits strategies and the business value of workforce health. Previously, he has served as the consulting corporate medical director for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Whirlpool Corporation, and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
A frequent speaker, Dr. Sherman has presented on a broad array of workforce health, productivity, and human resources practice-related topics to diverse audiences, and has published numerous related, peer-reviewed articles. He received his MD from NYU School of Medicine, his MA from Harvard and his ScB from Brown.
